After 30 years at top speed, Voyager 1 has become a starship.....

The Voyager 1 spaceship - a space probe launched in 1977 and still running today - has officially left the protective magnetic bubble that surrounds our solar system and entered interstellar space.

To give you some idea of what that means, here's a map of where it's at:

 
And, as it left our solar system, its radio antenna picked up something never heard before: The radio 'song' of our Milky Way galaxy.....
