Fire and water, in space.....

Most people know that there's a huge internationally built space station orbiting Earth. So what do the people working there do all day?

Well, sometimes they video what blobs of water do with no gravity around (it's worth pointing out that the space stations water is recycled, so that could be someone's pee).....



... and sometimes they use weightlessness to learn new things about fire....



The space station houses hundreds of experiments, most of which use some aspect of the space environment to do tests on things from Earth (like bacteria, heart disease, or metallurgy) that would be difficult or impossible to do down here.

But it seems that tending to those experiments leaves the astronauts plenty of goofing time....

 

Yes, it's space station water, so there's still a good chance it was originally pee....
