If you are a comic book fan, like me, then you probably know of Daredevil. He's a blind superhero, whose sense of hearing is so enhanced he can 'see' by a kind of echolocation.

Clearly whoever came up with that video's title didn't know their comic books at all (what kind of person doesn't - sheesh!) but I've checked this out; it's real and well documented. Not a drop of radioactive goo needed, just the time to hone normal human hearing, and the will to never, ever, quit.....
