Star Wars style 3D projection? We can do that.....

So, it's Saturday night. You've just watched Star Wars. Because what else are you gonna do with your Saturday night - go find some friends?

Nah.

Now you're wondering how long it will be before you can have your rubbish bin project a 3D image of a twenty-something Carrier Fisher begging for help into your living room.

Because you want to act out that scene from Star Wars.

Of course that's why.

And without having to wear funny glasses. because... um... they make you look like a sad weirdo....

Ahem.

But a lot of people have had the same thought. And the Japanese (yes, Japan still rocks the high tech stuff) are actually pretty damn close to something that looks very Star Wars-y. The video below is from two years ago:



And this year? This year Dolby are releasing a glasses free 3D TV you can buy. Well, that very rich people can buy:



So, 3D is here, or at least pretty close....
